PRIVACY

Method64 doesn't collect anything.

Not a stripped-down version of collecting things. The app has no servers to send data to, and contains no code capable of sending it.

EFFECTIVE 27 JULY 2026

THE SHORT VERSION

No account. No login. No analytics, crash reporting or advertising identifiers. No third-party SDKs. Every chart, stamp and reflection lives in a single file on your own device. We never see any of it, because there is nowhere for it to go.

Who this is from

Method64 is made by Tareea Labs LLC. If you have a question about anything on this page, write to support@tareea.com.

What we collect

Nothing. There is no sign-up, so we never learn your name or email address. There is no telemetry, so we never learn that you opened the app, which features you used, or whether you completed anything.

This isn't a policy choice we could quietly reverse in an update without you noticing: the app ships with no networking code at all. Its privacy manifest declares no tracking, no collected data types, and no use of any API that Apple requires a reason for.

Where your data actually lives

Everything you enter is written to one file named method64-state.json, inside Method64's own private folder on your iPhone: goals, pillars, the 64 action labels, instructions, what you've stamped, repeat tallies, reflections, tags, colors, reminder times and settings. Only Method64 can read it.

Reminders and the focus timer

If you turn on a reminder for an action, iOS schedules that notification on your device. The reminder text includes the action's own label, so the label appears on your Lock Screen at the time you chose. Nothing is sent to us or to any server to make that happen. If you deny or revoke notification permission, no reminder is scheduled at all.

The focus timer can show a Live Activity on your Lock Screen while it runs. That, too, is entirely local to your device and disappears when the session ends.

When data does leave, because you sent it

Method64 has two features that produce a file, and both are things you start deliberately:

Purchases

If you buy the one-time unlock, the purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your card, your billing address, or your Apple Account details. Apple tells us only anonymous, aggregated sales figures (how many copies sold, in which countries), never who bought them.

Children

Method64 isn't directed at children under 13. Since the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.

Your rights, and why there's little for us to do

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete the personal data a company holds about you. In our case the honest answer is that we hold none, so there is nothing for us to hand over or erase on your behalf.

You already hold all of it: the export feature is your access and portability right, editing a chart is your correction right, and deleting the app is your erasure right. We have never sold or shared personal information, because we have never had any to sell or share.

Changes

If a future version of Method64 ever gains a feature that genuinely needs to send data somewhere, this page will say so plainly (with a new effective date) before that version ships, and the app will ask you first.
